Jan Swift has served as Executive Director since January 2008.  She is a graduate of LSU and LSU Law School.  Jan is active at her church, Asbury United Methodist Church, and is a 5th grade room mother at Ascension Episcopal School.

 

Jan serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and the Education Committee of the Chamber. She serves as a key facilitator for the Facilities Planning Process being undertaken by the Lafayette Parish School System.  She is a member of the I-49 South Task Force appointed by Gov. Bobby Jindal. 

 

Swift is an attorney with Swift & Rhoades, LLP, and focuses on real estate transactions and chairs medical malpractice review panels.  She is also an assistant City-Parish Attorney for Lafayette Parish and represents the Office of Community Development. 

 

She and her husband, John, have two daughters, a Golden Retriever and two "ARF rescue puppies."
